He must be the unluckiest player in the whole tournament. England keep winning games with him off the pitch. Hitting the woodwork, disallowed goals, good saves, not getting the ball in great positions, putting good balls in to the box and players not getting on the end of them etc etc

He's been disappointing at times but really good at others, he's come so close to some great moments but nothing to show for it, while players who are not as good grab the headlines.

Please let his luck change on Sunday!

That's the Phil we know. Gutted he didn't score, but he played really well.

Proud of him. Purposeful, direct. Close, sharp ball control. Playing for the others, except that when he saw a chance, he went for it (rightly so). Not so effective in the second half, but MOTM overall for me.

He will get better and better only 24 I will guarantee by the time he is 28 he will be the best in the world
