He had a poor tournament. Can blame Southgate and Bellingham and the set up all day, and there's some merit to that, but the best players (which Phil is) tend to find a way to rise above the situation and perform

Fair point but he was millimetres away from scoring two of the goals of the tournament which would have made him the hero who got us to the final, not Ollie Watkins. Sometimes it just ain't meant to be.

Wish he showed a bit more self confidence when playing for England. His (positive) arrogance shone for us last season - demanding the ball and winning games on his own.

Very good achievement, why be negative.

Worked hard tonight in a team that wasn't able to get him on the ball in advanced positions.
Its been the tale of his tournament for the most part.
That said,he needs to take a look at his own game and see where he can improve for England.
