Not sure of the need for people to be extra defensive

You can give your opinion, but some people have absolutely no idea how to debate without being a bellend. They take an alternative opinion as an insult of their own intelligence when it's not.

Haaland has missed some chances put on a plate by Phil to be fair to him.

Haaland has missed some chances put on a plate by others as well. But everyone need to keep feeding him. I think that Phil will get there, eventually.

It feels like a lot of recency bias for all of the criticism surrounding his finishing. You don't outperform your xG by this margin over five seasons by being a poor finisher.

Good first half from Phil. His finishing has definitely dropped though from those early seasons. He was pretty ruthless when he got a chance. Seems to drag a lot just wide now.

Thought he was poor today. Had a lot of chances to carry the ball in his stride or turn but kept mis controlling the ball. Another poor shot again from him.

Yeah, and he had missed the target in that area for many times.

Most of his good shots happened when he played as right winger and could shot from right hand side.

Most of his shot from left hand side especially the area around left half space were meh .... Always an inch wide.

I guess that the right 8 might be his best position.
