I think this hybrid winger role is actually his best position.

He isn’t really a pure wide winger, nor really a true central man, he is a little bit of everything in the attack, this position gives him that freedom.

Alvarez is less so imo, he can’t quite do the wing bit anywhere near as well as he plays as a false 9.
