He made quite a few of you look a bit foolish tonight with some of those takes after the Sevilla game(yes, he was crap).
No one is better on the half-turn than him in the league. The number of times he's checking over his shoulder painting a picture of what's going on behind him is really something.

Normally I switch off straight after a game but stayed to listen to Foden.
From him, he’s seeing things he wasn’t seeing a few games ago but as he keeps playing there, he’ll get into the flow of things like when he was young.
He mentioned having played there at youth level twice and I know the lad is just waiting to go back to playing in the middle on a regular basis.

Give him the keys, could be Foden's team for the best part of a decade. He'll make the space for Haaland and find him with the assists too.

One of Phil’s best performances in a City shirt, by far his best ever in midfield. For a 23 year old, that was fucking high quality that.
Still got improvements to make and time to mature, but that was fucking class tonight.

Coming of age performance. Can’t remember the last time we had a midfielder who ran at players with pace and skill - never mind one who picks it up in the pockets. Genuine excitement every time he got the ball. Haaland will be licking his lips.
KDB is a master at finding space and being deadly with his final ball.
Phil is different in the sense he finds the space and turns on it then runs. Hope he can carry tonight on!
