Sad that people knew he was there with his kids and got the police involved. A qiuet word would have been more apt.. Now these 2 young girls have had to see their dad being arrested!

I think it all has to do with what era you grew up in.

This is 2012, the white v black thing is in the past, calling someone a black twat is nothing at all. You hear black, white and asian kids refer to each other as much worse in schools these days and it's never taken seriously because as I said, it's 2012.

It is heartening to see that our nation has now reached such an elevated point of advancement that the term 'black twat' is now widely accepted in polite society.

It's not widely accepted, but calling someone a "twat" isn't such a bad thing..

I'm sorry but "black twat" may be worthy of a ban letter , or even a polite conversation asking him to leave . Arresting someone in front of their kids over it is pretty terrible. He didn't try and harm the guy, didn't round up some pals to lynch him, he said something pretty stupid , I agree, but just seems a little drastic. Yes he should have known better, yes it was dumb to do in front of his kids but anyone that has kids has done something that sets a terrible example for them.

You are joking. In 2012 it should not be acceptable to use the above words. I'm a 40 year old asian and have suffered racial abuse in my life - Alot more before the 90's.

What that guy did is unacceptable, especially in front of his 2 children, parents should take responsibility for their actions. He should be banned for a few games and given a severe warning for his behaviour
