6% increase

Surely this is discriminatory?

Telling someone that they cannot sit in a certain area because they do not have children..and then charging them a higher rate to watch the game from a different stand...I see trouble looming on this one.

Some people need to wise up here.

We are the cheapest ground in the in the Premier League - even with the 6% increase. As for kids tickets - if they go up to £195 that will still make them cheaper than some 3rd division teams.

As for people having to move, I do have sympathy. Was told last week that people that sit in Colin Bell level 1 behind the dugouts would be shifted for a new corporate suite. It is a shame for those forced to move, but this was always gonna happen.

Or it's all more rag hype from the gutter press. The owners aren't daft enough to hike prices up BEFORE we have won something.
Afterwards when they have a bigger fanbase of new fans, I can understand.
Back off darnt pit.

This could be a very big topic, expect no news tomorrow as the club view the reaction they get (me cynical ?? no not at all).

For me, happy to put the younger families together, its often a pain having young kids near you, you have to watch your language (well you should anyway), I'd include all the "sit down" bunch too, but that's me, I'm not arsed if I have to stand, but it does annoy me when I'm nagged to sit when I can't see. If I can I'll sit, but if I can't see I'll stand.

Our owner wants the best club in the world, and he's not stupid, so he won't fund it all out of his own pocket, what does that mean ? Higher prices sadly, it was inevitable in my opinion, despite those that stick their head in the sand.

Top players, means top wages and fee's, and that means top ticket prices sadly, despite what the more naive were thinking, this comes as no surprise to me at all.

Sorry - no. I don't recall prices dropping to reflect the fact that I would be watching sub-standard football? I want to understand the rationale behind 6%. Why not 10% or 50% or 2%??? If revenues need to increase, what is being done elsewhere to manage down the cost base? How about a 1% reduction in the overall running costs of the Club blanaced off with an inflation level rise of 2%? Works for me. Unless disenfranschising the long term core fan base is the goal?

i just don't get it, i know the owners have to try to recoup the invested money somehow but i mean, this is just pushing fans away!, i genuinely feel sick at the thought that i might not be able to have a ST next year :/

People with Kids all over the ground who do not want to move to the North Stand will be pissed off too, unless they get in early and get the £250 tickets, which should be done on loyalty points not first come first served.

You secure good seats alongside people you have got to know and have a banter with. Seats for life. Then the club changes the goalposts without warning and you have to move for a couple of years and lose your spot - or keep your place by paying OVER DOUBLE THE PRICE for your kids. Yet we're among the few who actually choose to sit in Level 3. They have to bribe adults with £10 walk-up tickets to sit there!!!

It's money-grabbing that we have no need for, and right now I'm reconsidering all three season tickets I hold.
