rolls royce of a defender, no need to splurge on a left back. I want him starting every game. get someone to rotate, but he's first name on the sheet for me

How often does Salah get subbed? He stays on no matter what in almost every circumstance, ake made him so anonymous klopp took him off.

We know the guy can defend but his play on the ball is also improving bit by bit as he plays the wide left defensive role more. He's a big factor in making the (virtual) back three work.

Should be nailed on for place in team of the season and wouldn’t be unreasonable to mention him as player of the year candidate.

We need to talk more about this man.
I've just watched Kev's goal several times over. The dynamic of it, which seems inevitable, starts with Nathan showing the vision to spin round and play a creative pass outside his marker and up the line, rather than going for the safe “possession” pass inside, which he could so easily have chosen. After Nathan does that, everything else seems to follow.
Earlier this season, before the WC, certainly last season, I don't believe he would have played that pass. He is going from strength to strength.
