Despite Sterling not having his best season so far, I’d have played him tonight. CL games somehow are to his favour.

Maybe he was hoping he would play himself into some form, he did it with kev when he was having a rough patch after he came back from injury, and after giving raheem that space to find his form he's thought every match needs to be won and at the moment I can't trust raheem to have a good game.It seems strange to me that Pep has watched him be poor for so long and continued to pick him. Then all of a sudden, he’s dropped and is seemingly now well out of favour.
It certainly feels like it might be a challenge to him. We all know Pep loves Sterling and maybe Sterling has gotten a little too comfortable with that. Hopefully the change in approach from Pep will light a fire under him.Maybe he was hoping he would play himself into some form, he did it with kev when he was having a rough patch after he came back from injury, and after giving raheem that space to find his form he's thought every match needs to be won and at the moment I can't trust raheem to have a good game.
Or he is testing raheem, will put him back into the team hoping for the right sort of reaction
Unless it's against Lyon
As in the one sitter he missed. Bit like Foden last night with the latter time and a chance to make up. Which he did.Unless it's against Lyon

I've read enough post on match threads that say get this Fuckin ****, Wanker, Dickhead out of this club when he loses control of the ball, off the SAME folk constantly, Funnily enough since quite a few posters on here have pretty much complained about this the bile & Vitriol has been nipped in the bud even when Raz has has had an off game. Personally yes some poster's can't stand the guy that's near certain. I'm sure this happens at every club.If that constitutes bashing then the internet must be a very dark place for you.
Few people on this forum have praised and defended Sterling more than me over the last six years. We're at the point now where as soon as a City fan sees anyone criticising Raheem at all they assume that person must hate Sterling.
