Grealish, Kane and Rashford didn't either.Well they played one today, and Foden and Mount didn't score. Sterling did.

I was watching the game with a Liverpool fan, and even he was more positive about Sterling's performance than some on here.Grealish, Kane and Rashford didn't either.
He's been consistently great for us for many stretches of his time here. His performance today is typical Sterling. Noone has ever disputed his movement which he has shown again today but it is what he does or does not to do after. He is not consistently doing the right thing whether it be the right weight of pass, a good finish or not over running the ball.
In certain teams he would still look good and likely if he played against us he would be amazing and cause use all sorts of problems however his technical limitations will stop him being consistently great and fustrating to watch.
Don't you love an instant game by game analysis of how he should do better but can't?There really are some weird fuckers in this thread.
Constantly amazes me when I see how many lucky goals he has managed to score for City, for a guy with no talent for finishing and decision making, it must have been luck, right?Don't you love an instant game by game analysis of how he should do better but can't?
For thinking he’s technically very bad at times, bad with time making decisions or taking very easy chances?... Fantastic finish today by the way, really clinical. There really are some weird fuckers in this thread.
No, for constantly slagging him off at every opportunity you get, even on a day when he was probably England's biggest threat. For thinking he’s technically very bad at times, bad with time making decisions or taking very easy chances?... Fantastic finish today by the way, really clinical.

How about Benjamin Mendy? He did have a 2 year patch where he was performing amazing, proven now to be way above his actual level. Maybe the team setup suited him.
I have never seen a player to have such highs and to be as bad at times as he has been in the last 2 years in terms of being unable to basic things such as passing a ball with the right weight, finishing 1v1s and over running the ball. Things a player playing at this level being paid what he is should be able to do consistently and more the majority of the time.
That isn’t an over reaction either just watch 85% of his games this season and you will see multiple examples. When he scores people happily overlook the big flaws in his game.
Yeah, I reckon Foden and Grealish should walk into the team ahead of the dinner lady and world class Raz. Simply because they’re 2 of the most skilful and most naturally gifted English players I’ve seen in years. No, for constantly slagging him off at every opportunity you get, even on a day when he was probably England's biggest threat.
That just makes you look weirdly biased, I could say more but what would be the point.
It is like football's version of the F1 thread and Hamilton.
Yeah, I reckon Foden and Grealish should walk into the team ahead of the dinner lady and world class Raz. Simply because they’re 2 of the most skilful and most naturally gifted English players I’ve seen in years.
Rather than the angle you’re going for that I or most other people on here who slag Sterling for his infuriating lack composure on the pitch are racist fucking idiots.
Do you want to compare the stats for Grealish in his good season and Raz in this season, one of his worst for City?Yeah, I reckon Foden and Grealish should walk into the team ahead of the dinner lady and world class Raz. He's scored 23, 25, 31 and 14 goals in his last four seasons. Even this season he contributed to more goals+assists than anyone in the team apart from Kev, and all that with almost no penalties. Earlier in the season he was scoring or assisting at the rate of nearly one a game.He did have a 2 year patch where he was performing amazing, proven now to be way above his actual level. Maybe the team setup suited him.

Raz 10 goals 7 assists
Jack 6 goals and 10 assists
You mentioned racists, I would settle for fucking idiots though.
Have you watched him this season. I cannot believe anyone who has paid attention can defend his performances. Easy to point to the stats, the last 6 months especially were poor and that can be reflected in the stats. He's scored 23, 25, 31 and 14 goals in his last four seasons. He's also England's top scorer w/out pens over the same period, and he's still 26.
It's genuinely absurd to suggest that the level he achieved between 22 and 25, when he was one of the most productive players in the PL, is a 'patch'.
How about Benjamin Mendy?
But that wasn't your argument. He's clearly suffering for form, but he's been world class for 3 seasons, one of our more dangerous players before that , and one of our more productive players for much of this season.Have you watched him this season. I cannot believe anyone who has paid attention can defend his performances. Easy to point to the stats, the last 6 months especially were poor and that can be reflected in the stats.
