He was great today. He didn't actually have a particularly good game on the ball, touches weren't great, decisions were poor and he needs to learn to stay on his feet but the reason why he was great was because he was offering the side exactly what he should be offering us, pace, runs in behind, passing options and directness.
First half he was largely uninvolved but he was a constant threat because he made runs everytime we got forward, some of them were not very good runs and we largely ignored them as a team but that is what we need from him not the standing behind the player on the ball and moving away from goal sterling we've seen all too often.
Seeing those things from him today throughout suggests what Pep says about taking him back to basics is paying off, he's not in the team to do the things others do, he's incapable, use your key unique attributes and play to your strengths.
