I would be surprised if Cole taking over from Mahrez is not the plan. What we have seen is COle being given chances on the right, in the centre, and on the left. If he is added to a front line that includes Alvarez, Foden, KDB and Grealish, it gives almost infinite flexibility, quality, and finishing power.

There is very little like an academy player showing that they can deliver at the very highest levels.

Got so much talent this lad. He is like watching Mahrez but with more pace. Got excellent technique and so much confidence. Another who excels at that fake before chopping onto their left foot. The run and shot which their keeper saved was sublime, I like that he comes on and looks to get a goal and doesn't just play it safe. He's got a huge future ahead of him.

Think how Peps using palmer this season is good it’s next season he will have a hard choice if a palmer improves like I know he will..

Considering the comments Pep has made about Foden, it's interesting to see that he seems to be a lot more willing to play Palmer more centrally

Said towards the end of last season that we should have let Mahrez go and fully promoted Palmer. He’s ready to explode, I just don’t see where he’s going to get the game time unless we have an injury crisis.
