Just one occasion - he should put in a cross instead of shooting himself from that tight angle. Cannot blame him cuz he does not have much play time. But perhaps Pep will put in a word with him next time.

He had a good game today, for the minutes he was on. I saw a lot of him when he played over the road and he was terrific but the step up is a big one. I hope he will be as patient as Foden 'cos he can take a player down the wing on either side, something which Riyad can struggle with.

Last 2 performances how he puttin down the players who tried to defend him looks like he will be a very dangerous option as he hopefully get more gametime this season

His quality shines through everytime he gets minutes. Just a shame we're almost always in coasting mode and he doesn't get too many opportunities to make a telling impact with goals and assists. He's getting more minutes than even he could have wished for, just needs to keep doing what he's doing and learning under Pep and in 18 months time he will be a regular starter.

Wonder if the people who were dead against 5 subs are still against it now seeing how beneficial it is to the likes of Palmer, gomes and Lewis already.

A bit greedy today but you can understand it for a young lad trying to impress! Think he can impress pep more if he laid an assist on for someone

Super performance today. Wasn't scared to take a few liberties and made defenders look daft more than once.

A perfect substitute when we're 3 or 4 up and gets a chance to develop at top level. The lad has a very big future ahead of him.

On Palmer, I personally think the only similarity to Mahrez is the feint. Palmer glides but can push up a gear to dribble past a player. Will always have his defender on toast.
