No PL team will have him as a starter.Always used to look at other teams players and think would they get in our team and 9/10 times they wouldn’t. Would Rico get into current Arsenal , Lpool, Chelsea, even Villa or Spuds?

This could be on most player threads tbh.
The collective has entirely lost their way. No movement, no fight, no self belief, no composure.
I don't know which individual components need removing to repair it and if Rico is one of them then so be it; he's been terrible for the last few games.
The problem is that you want players like him gaining experience when the seasoned players in the team are able to lead by example but right now none of them are coming close to that.
But what do we do? We don't have options. Just chuck another kid in? Play someone else who is already playing shit out of their natural position?
Tough one. No easy answer.

I think he’s mustard though, although he’s not showing it currently.
I liked him playing as a right back and stepping into midfield. I think that’s the best and most effective we’ve seen him.
He has developed a tendency to go over too easily and it’s not a good look. Pep clearly trusts him though, so he will be a starter for a long, long time.
