Palmer got tons of chances.. maybe not as many as he hoped but he got chances. His own injuries and lack of versatility got in the way.

There's 2 ways to get into a Pep team.. either be the best in the world at your position or be versatile enough to play multiple positions.

Cole is a 1 position player and there were better players ahead of him while he was here!

WIth Mahrez gone we had no natural right wingers so no one was better than Palmer there, you can say Bernie but he's not a natural winger.

You aren’t seriously judging Mcatee on his cameo appearances? He’s playing once every 8 weeks or so, what are you expecting?

Training and world class facilities mean nothing to most players if they aren’t playing. Mcatee has not been given a chance at all, despite our senior players being terrible.
