I was thinking this after the game too. What could Mcatee do worse than what Doku is serving up, he literally couldnt do anything worse! He would help his LB out more than Doku is doing. It’s like Pep and the board have had a pact to just not use the majority of the academy..it’s fucking bizarre.

I reckon if he leaves in January he'll end up finishing higher than us.
Personally I don’t think he’s good enough but then neither are a lot of the more senior players at present. However, there is absolutely no point in him hanging around at City if he has any ambition as a footballer and wants to play regularly.
If I were of anyone in our youth ranks I’d be banging on the manager’s door in January wanting out because I think it’s a disgrace that not if these players is being trusted to made an appearance whilst this tepid shit bottle less football is being played week in week out. The lack of subs in a game is another one where probably millions of fans are scratching their heads every week wondering wtf is going on in peps mind atm . January isn’t saving our season I’m afraid .

Even if you take all the emotion out of it and look at is strictly from a professional point of view, I'd have my shit packed already and wanting a move as soon as the window opens.
If they're not being given an opportunity to impress in the worst City team of the post-takeover era, then what was the point of having them here in the first place? They were never going to be able to make a name for themselves in a functioning side so why have we been wasting anyone's time?
