Probably because he’s been out on loan.

He was wearing 87 on the recent tour.

Having said that, I’d like to see all of him, Lewis, Bobb, and O'Reilly have lower squad numbers.

I can’t see McAtee taking #21; there would be too many comparisons with the one true footballing god.
