Was wondering with Haalands age could he win both pfa young player and pfa player of the year?
Despite his eye watering amount of goals, I’d have Rodri and Stones ahead of him for our Player of the Season, never mind anyone from an Arsenal.

Haaland only had 16 touches of the ball against Wolves the other day, Kalvin Phillips had more touches and he only came on for 13 minutes. Haaland had 20 at Old Trafford the other week.

You can’t be the best player in a league being so uninvolved in a game.

He might go down as the best goalscorer anyone has seen since Jimmy Greaves though.

Both Rodri and Stones are more essential to our most cohesive football IMO,Haaland,as mad as it sounds, isn't.

That's not to say i wouldn't have him in it ;-)

Rubbish nonsense.

Haaland is by far the biggest reason why Mam City still have a chance to win Premier League this season in spite of defensive issues as well as several players being out of form. Haaland has won games & bailed out Man City from losing games with his clutch goals.

Speaking about UCL, I guess Aguero and Tevez were never really valuable for Man City as they (very rarely) came clutch in UCL knockout stage?
This is the problem when people are obsessed by a single player ,they lose all perspective of more nuanced posts and views.
PS What the fuck does came clutch mean?

Exactly this - Haaland isn’t scoring goals the team wouldn’t without him like Tevez or Aguero used to, he’s simply absorbed a larger share of the goals we score by default. The real test of his true value will come in the Champions League knockout games - see if he can be decisive when it actually matters.
Worst 2nd post ever?

I agree with the spirit of what you're saying - if not quite the way you frame it. We have played badly in general throughout November and the start of Jan. Lack of pace in the build up, sloppy misplaced passes, defensive errors, lack of incisiveness. If you look at our dirge of clinical finishing last year, there's no way we create enough chances to score goals playing like that. Sure, it's a different game if you swap him out and we get another player who comes deeper and gets more involved. But at times this year we've struggled to get into the final third, so I don't see how that helps. The problem has been much further down the pitch.

I think it's no exaggeration to suggest we could be worrying about a Champions League place if it weren't for his 25 goals. He has overperformed his xG by a significant margin, scoring goals from scraps at times when, frankly, we looked like we couldn't score if we were out there all week.

He scored a hattrick and you're stilled worried about his number of touches? How many touches is are necessary to be considered the best?

Careful. You'll be accused of disliking him.
