Has anybody got a video of Alf celebrating his second goal? There’s footage of him as the ball gets put through to him and eventually scoring but can’t find it anywhere

I can't stop watching that second goal. Everything about it was perfection. The pass from kev, the movement to create the channel for the run, the pace that leaves the defenders in another timezone, the way he opens his body up at just the right moment, and of course the finish; precision with plenty of rocket fuel. No disrespect to the rest of our exceptional squad of players, but none of them would be capable of replicating a goal like that.

We have an absolute superstar in our ranks, a thoroughbred. I try not to get overly giddy over new signings because there are often many unknowns; but I'm indescribably giddy over this lad.

In fact, bold prediction time. If he spends his entire career with us, and stays relatively injury free, he'll obliterate Shearer's record. Two very big "ifs", but I truly believe it will happen should those caveats be met.
I knew he was fast and strong, but it's how quickly he gets up to speed but how slowly he slows down and then sets himself that blows my mind. Two or three strides to get up to speed, one or two to slow down. Scary. And they are constant runs as well. Once the players figure that out even if they don't feed him he's keeping almost their entire back four occupied.

What a daft statement.
So Sterling and Jesus didn't score a goal between them then?
Let's hope don't we don't throw away points if he misses a chance this season.
There's no way that Sterling or Jesus would have even reached the pass from Gundo to Erling for the first goal. The ball was somewhat overhit and the reason we scored is that Haaland has freakish pace and a knack for making that run in the first place.

As for the 2nd goal - maybe Sterling or Jesus score that chance - maybe not. One thing for sure is that Haaland will score that sort of goal much more often than Sterling or Jesus.

I couldn’t believe how fast he was against West Ham but this vid just shows his speed. I dont know how you counter that. Some of the defenders in these clips are not Jogging they are full on sprinting and they can’t catch him, his acceleration is ridiculous

His superfast breakaway is going to give us an extra lever to win games. Far too often we have a breakaway but the team as a whole is very slow to catch up and the attack fizzles. In the above video we see Haaland sprinting from his own half to get on the end of anything. I'm going to really enjoy watching this develop. I'm also hoping he has a more direct effect on his teammates, who just a bit too often look for a simple opta-enhancing pass rather than a threatening one.

I have yet to see such a video. Not sure it exists.
Here's the immediate aftermath.

This angle of the second goal is by far my favorite:

His finishing while running at that speed is amazing.
