Inverted wingers plus Cancelo at right back doesn't really play to his strengths. Hopefully this firms up the resolve to sign Cucurella.

Just saying to the old man which player in the land would you want on the right wing to play with him…..

I already miss Jesus, WTF was that ?

We traded Jesus for Muhammad - such a blasphemy :(
You will of course remember we lost last year and played equally as rusty....Haaland will prove to be far better than Nunez or Gabby by the WC break don't worry.

We need to play to his strengths , his movement in the first half was superb we just didnt give him the ball , he will score for fun when we can get the ball to him in the right areas.
Two way street - not that people will see it.
Haaland has things to learn, the rest of the side have to adjust from the way we've played the last 2 seasons.
The one KDB missed pass first half creates a goal in a months time

He needs a time guys and we knew that before the game. Just keep calm. He is not ready.

You should read some of the comments from the plastics on instragram
Embarrasing

Not sure having cut inside wingers playing off him is the best option. Especially if you pair that with Walker on the right and Cancelo on the left. Another reason we need a left back.

His goal vs Bayern and 2 of his chances today came from crosses from players(Bernie) on their strong foot. Not this cut in and float in nonsense.

Don't think he was half as bad as people are making out (except for the sitter). Working off scraps most of the time as our all round play was poor.

You could see his frustration in the first half, so many opportunities to put him in early but the rest of the team are so used to taking extra touches. Noticed it with Mahrez today and Bayern especially.

He needs to adapt and so do the players around him slightly.

Once it clicks, it will be beautiful.

I thought that effort he had where he stretched to connect after bringing it down and holding Robertson off was pure class. He will miss chances but he will score plenty. Glad he got one against Bayern, Haaland is a monster and will get goals. The team are building fitness to peak when it matters, the dippers always start strongly. Let's remember Aguero didn't manage a goal at Anfield, one performance is irrelevant. And it was those behind him that largely struggled today due to the intensity and fitness of the dippers.
