The pundits keep on going on about how many touches of the ball Haaland has , he had sixteen against Palace and scored three times , who gives a shit about how many times he touches the ball , if the pricks who make these comments watched his runs off the ball and the defenders he takes with him they might just realise there is a lot more to being a world class striker than touches of the ball.
Ive watched some really brilliant strikers over the years Gerd Muller , Jimmy Greaves , Lewandowski , Benzema, Aguero etc. and none of them are constantly involved in games , but they are there when it matters , sticking the ball in the onion bag.

If his team mates "spotted" a few more of those runs it would be good too :)

Seen this and there is literally nothing in it. Just dippers trying to stir stuff up. He’s walking off knackered, hugs him twice. Nowt in it.
I haven't seen owt from anyway in fairness. I just saw it yesterday at the match and he seemed to be embarrassed.
Watch it again, was a bit odd.

Starting his celebrations already while holding off two palace players [emoji16]

He is physically unique. That's what sets him apart. He reminds me of Jonah Lomu and Usain Bolt when they came along and were physically superior to their competitors. We've had big 6 foot 4 target men before but none have had the sheer pace that Haaland has. Accompany that with being deadly in front of goal and you've got a monster on your hands.

the anticipation and movement too. There’s never been a striker with his characteristics.

I can't believe people are only just working out that Pep is a bit of a weirdo, and he's a proper weirdo when he is having a good time and up for it. Southern European disposition meeting Scandi disposition. Both had fun yesterday.

Yep totally agree.
He's everything i imagined he'd be and more.
What a striker he is, i luv this lad already!

Be interesting to know the thoughts of the poster who, in the match thread, said he looks like Bony at times. Actually no, ‘an expensive Bony’.

Facepalm.

An amazing post.

Posts such as this should go into a hall of infamy in a the classic threads section.

Have seen a few over the last few years saying KDB was past his best and should be sold.

Not to pile on him but I remember Marvin saying Aguero was finished about 5 years before he actually was.

I stand corrected, so it's 32. My point is still valid though

Suarez had a 7/8 game ban at Start of that 31 goal season as well. Glad he left.

It’s a good start from Haaland let’s hope he keeps it up,he’s got a hell of a lot to learn in the premier league.

I hope so mate I really do
Without wanting to jinx it, only a future injury will prevent him from getting to the highest pinnacle of the game and be talked about with the same reverence of past greats by future generations.
He's the right man at the right team at the right time. Enjoy it, mate.
