Better without him apparently if you listen to the Idiots. Great performance, great link up and superb goal but if you ever needed to explain what haaland brings off the ball, today's game is the perfect game to show even the smoothest of smooth brained people.

Soon as he came on, they couldn't press, they had to drop, the midfield finally got some room and we could start to play. This question you expect from dippers should never come up again on here.

The pass by Kevin was good, but Haaland had to dummy the defender and finish on his weak foot.

This is the Haaland we saw last year, this year, we have rarely seen him do this.

Haaland and City needed him to step up in this game and he did. A good move bringing him on against a tiring defence.

The goal was really good, but the big thing he did was stretch the pitch vertically. That gave our midfielders space and turned the game in our favour

Looked to get a yard of pace back that has been missing lately, makes me think that he must have been playing through some kind of niggle/pain.

Not his best finish ever, but 'twere his "weak" foot ; they all count.
