The problem with Haaland is he needs a very competent midfield creator on the field to supply him goals. Unfortunately we don't have that currently. Not even Rodri's return is going to fix this.
If that's the case, he probably shouldn't be the highest-paid striker in the league.

Even Gabriel Jesus could create chances for himself. Not to mention he pressed the opposition like a damn dog.

people will say he is not that good even if he wins PL top scorer again but this time with 25 goals rather than 35+.
I am worried where PL goals gonna come from.
its not all on Haaland who will do well if he scores around 25.

Lets say we need over 85 goals to win the league.

I cannot see the rest putting up 60 goals if Haaland delivers "only" 25.
Rodri, Kova, Nunes, Doku, Grealish, Foden, Alvarez, Bernardo scored total of 8 goals in 8 rounds of PL with an overall easier fixture list.
thats quite shit as that is avg so far 1 goal per round from these 8 players combined. if that is a true avg overall thats only 30 more goals from them, thats piss poor. :)
Foden, Alvarez, Doku three of them should score 30 rather than 8 of them especially with Foden and Alvarez both on track to play more minutes than last season.

last year it was as per below in PL:
36 Haaland
11 Foden
9 Alvarez
8 Gundo
7 KDB
5 Grealish
5 Mahrez
4 Bernardo
9 combined of Rodri, Cancelo, Stones, Ake

after 8 rounds (of somewhat overall easier fixture list):
8 Haaland
3 Alvarez
2 Rodri
1 Bernardo
1 Doku
1 Foden
1 Ake

we need to start scoring, especially for all players apart from Haaland.
for Haaland need to create more chances in the meantime.

Alvarez getting subbed rather than Haaland was borderline insanity on Pep's part. A bizarre decision imo.

It was just as bizarre in Germany versus Leipzig. Foden was far and away our best attacking player yet he came off before Haaland. Obviously, it worked out brilliantly that time and Pep did the same today and surprise surprise, Haaland didn't suddenly turn it on out of nowhere and pull a goal out of a hat.

Am I being overly critical? Maybe... but when you're the highest-paid player in the league, you are held to a higher standard than others.

Do you really think it's a coincidence that there are far fewer goals spread around the team with Haaland in the team than there were with say, Jesus or Aguero? Of course, it's not.

sure, but that doesnt mean Haaland will delivery 35+ each season (PL only) so the rest can continue to share less goals.
Haaland also can get an injury keeping him out for 6/8 weeks or worse, then what...
Alvarez would be the sole striker in that period but then ever more true that the rest would need to up their numbers.
