Although funnily enough, if there is another one we may have him in Foden. I think having Jesus, Foden, Bernardo, Rodri/Fernandinho, KDB (when fully fit), Cancelo, Walker, Laporte, and Dias all in the same team is really transformative to our pressing game.

Yes, Foden is exceptional. Had Foden and Jesus started in Paris, we'd have probably won. But Pep was probably right to rotate them, given how much we rely on their pressing and energy vs teams like Liverpool. It was an incredibly difficult week and we couldn't play our current best XI in all three games.

But I thought Curtis Jones runs rings around Foden?

I reckon so, and I think that’s what will happen at home to Paris

Happy for the lad. Was never a centre forward, and said it from early on. Finally seems like he's finding his feet and becoming comfortable. Really looking forward to seeing what he can produce.

Very happy we go all out for the Cup games. Quite a battle between Mahrez and Jesus going on for the RW and they both deserve to play.
Their G/A output might be quite similar over the course of a season, but it’s Jesus over Mahrez every day for me. I think Jesus offers so much more to the team even without goals and assists.

Only behind foden and Bernardo for me today. What he brings to our attack is very similar to what Bernardo brings to the midfield. He is vital to this side even if he isn't scoring or assisting but he's doing that too which makes him indispensable. That 80m sprint to get back into the right back position whilst walker was covering at centre back epitomises his work ethic.

In our front 3, foden and jesus have to play in the big games, the other is currently up for debate

Jesus needs a mention for his tireless contribution , he really has come on leaps and bounds this season and is stating a case to start most games , he gives us more energy than Mahrez but Jesus isnt as technically gifted. We are well covered on the right with two exceptional footballers , Jesus is going to be a vital part of the trophy hunt for the next six months , and will play plenty of games.

With mahrez and Gabby both in top form, I’d like to see how he’d do on the left side cutting in. Get our two most in form wingers in the same team could see us up another level maybe.

My favourite thing about this Jesus rebirth is all of his good contributions are still coming from the central striker position, he is just completely liberated by not being the striker on paper, and getting to rotate in.

Not much to say but the penalty looked like a guy with confidence, which was missing from his game for a while.
