City bought him for £27m in 2017. Not a chance we sell him for less than we bought him for. Though Txiki is poor at selling so you never know.

I hope the power brokers are evaluating the pros and cons. Look at the stick Jack is getting already and some have already written him off which is another point altogether.

Sometimes the shiny new name is not as good as the player who is bedded in and understands the team ethos pep has created. I would only sell if the player asks for a move or has shown signs that they are not happy to play their current role. We already have a smallish squad with a few over 30.

Sergio has yet to be replaced.

1 of either Mahrez, Jesus or Sterling for me. On form Mahrez must stay. So who will contribute more from sterling or Jesus? Who will not be moaning to the papers?

As you point out, we have a lot of players in this situation.
That's hilarious as we have a huge squad. Our bench would walk into the first team of almost every other team. The problem with our huge squad of talented players is getting them all minutes, especially as Pep doesn't play many subs.

With our track record on selling players, I think we'll be lucky if we get nothing but don't have to pay half his wages for two years.

Ok CityBLU…or should that be TraffordRed????

Sometimes you have to accept the truth and stop wasting time on the wrong forum->>>>>>>>>> www.redcafe.shit

You are very welcome. Come again;)

According to Italian website TuttoMercatoWeb, City are demanding €50M for Jesus but Juve want to pay €30M

missed an almost impressive amount of chances today despite only being on the pitch for about 15 minutes

Should have left a year ago.

A faint shadow of the player he was 3 years ago and terrified of scoring.

I love him and hope he manages to kickstart his career wherever he goes because it’s in free fall here.

I always feel sad when I realize he didn't want to push for the striker spot when Aguero was clearly waning for us due to injuries.

Either from him or Pep, they decided the safe route of him being a winger. But while he is solid, he doesn't really excel in anything there.

His scoring is perhaps a product of being a slightly bad finisher, or just lacking confidence, or a mix of both (I'm leaning towards this).

Maybe if he persisted as a striker he could have developed more, but right now, I think he needs a new club for his own sake.

He did more in 20 minutes than Grealish or Foden did all game. But you’re right, he needs to leave and be another teams star man.

Love the guy and have always backed him. However, it’s just one of those situations where you feel like it’s never going to fully work. He has become a real nearly-man. Love his attitude and his work-rate and he has plenty of quality but he is lacking in the goal department. His overall figures will stand up but we need a 25 goal a season man and it’s not going to be him.

Comes on for a cameo, instantly becomes the best of the front 3 and all we get on here is calls for him to leave. Bizarre reaction to a very positive 20 minutes. He looked sharp, very sharp. should have scored, unlucky hitting the post pretty sure it took a deflection on the way, should have buried the rebound but was far better than Grealish or foden in a much shorter time on the pitch.

Unless Pep plays gundogan, Bernardo and kdb in any of the games thus pushing one of them 3 upfront, he simply has to play against Madrid and liverpool and preferably as the 9. His energy gives the team so much in the big games.

IMO this was his season to nail down a place which he has never really done since coming to the club. We don’t have a striker and none of the wingers were ripping it up early season, it was there for the taking for him. A mixture of injuries and up and down form has meant that he is still the same bit-part/squad player he always has been since arriving. It’s hard to see how things change for him should we sign a striker in the summer.

I don’t want him to leave but it seems almost inevitable. Like it might be the best for all involved.
