The problem when players only get a game here and there to show what they're about is it results in them trying too hard to be the hero. Think Jesus was guilty of that on occasion yesterday.
The guy gave 100 per cent as always and scored a vital goal which was well executed. He might have made the wrong decision a couple of times while in good positions but on balance he was well worth his starting place. The problem when players only get a game here and there to show what they're about is it results in them trying too hard to be the hero. I'd always start him against them. He gives them fits with his sheer effort, he never stops harassing them and makes good runs behind.Be happy for him to start at the weekend , cant be selfish if the pass is on though
He pretty much took Robertson out the game in the first half, Jesus pinned him back. Jesus will definitely play on the right at Wembley again, I think it may even be the same team.I'd always start him against them. I did. I've just watched his cameo video on the website and he's put himself about and taken a couple of thuggish tackles from assorted Dipper journeymen. Pity he didn't square the ball when he chose to shoot. Kev wasn't 'appy!Agree but thought overall he played well.
