The work he put in was amazing. How many times did he come back from behind play to disposes a Chelsea player? It's never just a token press from him either which can be the case from a few other players in the side, he runs and presses with the intention of getting a foot on the ball. Rudigers been in great form for them that's the toughest game he's had for a long time, has enough pace and skill to do you any way and can put in a very handy ball. perhaps a little too safe at times but he's not played that position with any regularity yet, needs an opportunity to make that position his own. Has remarkable aerial ability too which is never mentioned, the amount of headers he won against rudiger he had no right to win was impressive.

He's a Pep favourite for a reason and the stick he got and still gets on here has always been absurd. Hope he continues to make people look stupid.

Thought he was ineffective going forward the first half (which could be as much down to Chelsea defending so well) but put a hell of a shift in and got the winner. Well done Gabi

It's a shame he's not a better finisher, because he's got this crazily good ability to create shooting opportunities for himself.

The goal was a good example, but the miss at the end of the first half involved him peeling off the defender (Rudiger?), taking the ball down with his shoulder and fashioning the space to shoot. When was the last time you saw a player do that?

He was everywhere today. Causing havoc up the right flank one minute, winning the ball back at left back the next, then causing havoc up front again a minute later.

Loads of good link up play in midfield.

End product was lacking at times, but he’s the one who put the ball in the net to win us the game!
