Fair play to them. They were trying to put our players off and encourage their own.
You are a ****. You're not a blue, you're just a ****, and how the fuck you've lasted this long is beyond me Capital C.

Bit on the mad side that mate.
He might be wrong about him not being a blue.

the booing actually shows how far our club has progressed , this was their biggest league game for 25 years , and they tried to unnerve our players , but it didnt work , they needed a defensive mistake and a ref with no backbone to win them the game .We wont boo the dippers when they come to our place , because its no big deal , its dipperpool , they used to be a big club.

What a stupid point to make! We've got history with the FGS. We've hated him for years and with good reason.

They've got nothing with Yaya.

Don't come back with a reply, you'll just look silly.

Are you just thick of what ?
THE WHOLE OF THE MAIN STAND AND SOME OF THE KOP CLAPPED YA YA OFF.
Is that not clear enough for you

Here's the difference and tells you everything you need to know about the scousers.

When a player is injured, they'll give them a standing ovation as they are carried off. When a Munich anniversary comes up, they will stand perfectly in silence with their brothers in tragedy shit. When Heysel comes up, they will put up a plaque and have a round of applause.

You see people say that the scousers revel in grief and this is incorrect. The scousers revel their own image of "being respectful". It's why they will have a Hillsborough memorial every single year at a Church with TV cameras and all of the pomp but not a Heysel one. It's why they will always do the things "expected" of fans because it feeds into their own bullshit ego. They don't do it out of genuine emotion but because they feel that their fanbase is "classy" unlike everybody else.

It's also why when they need to show actual respect, the type that isn't forced down your throat, they do thinks like cheer when Yaya cramps down injured.

They're a self-righteous bunch of cunts who given the slightest opportunity allow the veil to slip.

They revel in delusional self-righteousness which is why everybody think's they;re cunts.

Absolutely! If ever you needed an example of double standards and hypocrisy all rolled into one it's the Hillsborough/Heysel thing. Hillsborough ... very tragic accident - Heysel ... utter hooliganism where 40 odd dippers were charged with manslaughter and English teams kicked out of Europe. I bet if that had happened recently and the same sanctions were enforced by UEFA/FIFA ... the dippers would be getting sued by about 6 or 7 teams right now too.

Honestly the commentating on the US feed was atrocious. 90 minutes on the cult of the Kop. You would think teams lost the game before they even got off the bus because the church of the Kop was in session. There are very weird messianic words and emotions around Liverpool that frankly I find more than a little pathetic.

Fair comment.
I'll give myself the rest of the night off.

Even when you're insane, your grammar is impeccable.

Got to agree with PB.

Put the Hillsborough thing to one side.

Their fans didn't half make some noise today. And yes, they went quiet for a period when we scored our goals and were on top. Prior to that they were very loud. It wasn't only the KOP, that holds 25,000 fans, it was the 3 other stands as well. The whole of Anfield got behind Liverpool and sang as one on numerous occasions.

Going back to the KOP. It's amazing how much affect such a stand can have, not only the team, but on the rest of the stadium. Hence why when City planned to expand the Etihad, they should have created a similar stand at either end of the ground. Yes it would have cost more and meant one end of the stadium would have been closed or partly closed for a season or two, but it would have been worth it in the long run.

Fast forward to Wednesday. I can tell you now, our singing sections will struggle to get anything going. As for the other stands, you won't hear a chant. OK, maybe the odd "come on City!", but that will be about it.
