I'd be happy to be patient if I was 100% sure that Sheikh Mansour will still be here in 20 yrs time.
Do you really think he's building that complex across the road, with the intention of bailing out any time soon ? That is what is going to make us fully succesful, and that has always been his plan, its where the club starts making its own money (and he gets some of his investment back).

There's some things I can understand people panicking about, Sheik Mansour isn't one of them.

Will not matter in the future anyway because we will be self sufficient in the next few years

I know all the evidence points to him staying long term but the pessimist in me still worries. At this moment we are totally reliant on Sheikh Mansour. I can see the need to play "entertaining" football as this will attract more fans, more TV viewers and therefore more revenue. I suspect the real problem is that a lot of our players don't respect the club in the way that they would if they were playing for Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern and hence are quite happy to under perform now and again.

I'd add the mighty man united to that list, we should probably stop pretending to be a big club.

No I can't agree with this comment. For me, there is a real desire by all the players to take this club further. They communicate this on the OS and twitter often enough.

Hopefully we'll see a response tomorrow.

All teams are reliant on their owners, except maybe those owned by supporter cooperatives. I think Sheikh Mansour has demonstrated full commitment to City and the local area, much more so than other rich owners.

You need help that's not being pessimistic that is out and out depression, and I am not joking either it's either that or your an out and out wind up merchant, but if you really feel that way you need to give up watching football altogether

I have never even felt remotely that way in all the years of supporting City and if I ever did I would give up

Honestly, I've suspected I have depression for some time. But still - I just feel like we've never been comfortable at the top. There's always something going wrong. To me, it's just Typical City, always out there to screw things up for us.

If you suspect it get some help, no one should ever feel that down about something, as for the logic of optimism, it's just the flip side of pessimism they are both feeling about the what is essentially unknown, the turn of a card if you wish and they are both just thoughts and thoughts create your world

Superbly put ducado!

I Agree, it was Mr Pee the got it wrong formationwise and not the players, one or two of the players ended up making rash challenges due to the lack of ball retention. It was a learning curve.
