I’m off to Antalya with the wife and kids in July. How did you enjoy your visit? I’m in a TUI 5 star all inclusive. Excellent reviews on trip advisor apart from people saying there are a lot of rude Russians?
Is there any other type :)

They should get out of Cyprus too imho.

I got back from Turkey o Sunday morning.
Had a great time. Particularly has there appears to be a serious upturn in the Turkish economy has the Turks seem to have more money and there are more and more bars aimed at the Turkish, which are an improvement on those typical English bars

Just booked Manc - Istanbul flights. Thu - Mon 28May - 1Jun 2020. Obv hoping for City in the CL Final but if not 4 night trip to Istanbul something to look fwd to. £283.14 return direct flights. Bargain!

38 degrees every day.
Lira has started to slowly recover.
Still getting 7 to a pound in most bars.

We were there two weeks ago and the ex rate started in resort at 7.4 and by the end of the fortnight was at 6.9
The most disappointing aspect was that it wasn't as cheap as I expected. The locals had put the prices up to run with the exchange rate
