A Positive from the new euro away ticket system?

Furthermore it seems the real reason they are really behind it is that it appears to stop dickheads.

It would not work for a home or away game so that is not really an arguement to put forward regarding a European match. It works for Europe. Why is it sheep like to get on a tram and collect a ticket ? Why is it a grown man cannot carry a letter and his passport in is pocket. If you are on Spikes trip you have to carry your passport with you at all times anyway. If you are overnight you can collect your ticket and leave your passport in your hotel.
Further it is not going to change. Which ever european cup we are in next year it will be the same. I would ask one question to all those that moan about it, have you emailed the club to voice your dissatisfaction and offer other suggestions ?

I was clearly typing at the same time as you were and I used the phrase dickheads. I have no problem calling some city fans dickheads, sadly they are. All clubs have them. What else should we call them ?
Further who posted lies about zero points ? You do seem to come out with strange statements. Everyone knows that people attend away matches in this country and in Europe who would not qualify for a ticket. They get them from the club. That is not new, it has always happened.

Do you normally get a ticket off a mate but you couldn't this time or do you have loads of points so you'd get a ticket anyway?

I must be a sycophantic sheep because I've got 11000 points and got a ticket that I wouldn't have got before so I like the new system.

If you can't see that this system, if implemented properly, is a good thing for the majority of fans who are trying to build up points so they can go to matches like this then you're a bit thick.

Don't recall being treated like a criminal by the club. Different story for the Spanish police.

Ok, the system isn't perfect and for some reason people on low points managed to inexplicably get tickets, but it doesn't mean that the system should be abandoned in its entirety. The key thing is keeping the collection where the match is played and insisting on proper ID for that collection. Wristbands are pointless.

The PSG and Madrid threads do seemt to bring out very exagerated statements from some. Walking into a hotel, being talked to in a civil manner and being handed a ticket by a nice young lady is hardly being arrested, put in a cell, interviewed, fingerprinted, photographed and taken to court but I suppose some have different ideas about criminality.

You must be a fully paid up member of the Supporters Club.

Official stance is the fans are dickheads and why should you need ticket points if you're in they're club. In the club you don't need points for a ticket, outside you do. Seems completely fair to me and everyone else I'm sure.

Spot on west didsblue! It is a fairer system and could be improved with a tweak or two eg a couple of Stewards travelling on Spike's Tour booked planes could to dish out the tickets (as all the security info needed is readily available).

I must have missed all these people with low ticket points. It was very observant to spot these imposters from people who struggle to carry a letter in their pockets lol! In fact, my sense was that this was the oldest away City following I've ever seen with thousands of Blues who have shown lifetimes of loyalty!

The other week you had very cleverly worked out that I was on the Thomsons trip .......... except I wasn't and I pointed that out. Now you have worked out I am in a supporters club ......... I am not. Do you want to keep guessing ? Mind you I did tell you, probably in the thread you pulled, that I travelled independently having got my own ticket on my own points. i think it is an excellent system as it helps keeps dickheads away.

I assume the snidey remarks will continue from you and I will get another warning when I respond meanwhile you will hide behind being a Mod.

whilst you believe City fans to be dickheads, I actually call them people who need dealing with by the authorities if they do something illegal.

About the rest of your post its as actutrate (sic) as your previous. Yet you still haven't responded to my earlier post except the personal pop (wrongly again, but no surprise there eh?), although at least you've managed to stop the abuse Mr Angry.
