A reply to Mancini's MEN advert in La Gazzetta Dello Sport

Brilliant idea, but did you come to an agreement on the message? "Once A Blue, Always A Blue" Might have him feeling guilty about his next job. Not that a mere Well Wisher's input is valued, but you couldn't go wrong with "Manchester City legend, forever" or words to that effect.
 
Surely a billboard would be cheaper, and to do it in his home town would be a nice touch but that's just my opinion il go with the majority
 
I'd stick with the original idea.

How much does the advert cost? I would happily donate some.

No actual quotes though its been said a full-page in a similar UK publication would be £10s of thousands. A sum which looks like a lot to find.

On the message would it be a good idea to say something along the line of from the supporters to be clear its from us?
 
UPDATE:

Blues, we're going ahead with the newspaper. Tell all your friends at the match today.
We are going to aim at a half page in the sports section as its obviously half the price. BUT, we might be surprised and should we better that, we go all out for a full page.
Henry Winter mentioned it on Sky this morning and it can really gather pace.

Well done for taking the plunge Adam. Is it possible to close this thread and start a new one with a stcky. Id say an announcement is needed to get things rolling today before the end of season takes trafic away from the site.
Is anyone aware of what rics view is on all this, is he/ the site behind it?
