Learning from Rodri & Pep is quite the sell for a young midfielder

Rodri is immense as an 8 as well though. They could play together.

That is something I keep bringing up too, many, many people have ignored the increased attacking influence Rodri had last season just from having a deeper 8 alongside him in kovacic. stick somebody who can actually be a 6 in there with him and he can be as impactful in an attacking sense as any other 8 we have, enabling us to easily play with two 6's.

Yeah I agree with that - guaranteed game time etc - and not saying it would mean anyone would demand the move. However, just as an argument for why someone would be prepared to play potentially fewer games, Rodri & Pep are up there.

Rodri's ability and superb ability to play in the final third is something we need to see more of.

Does he have any ability in the middle ground between “ability” and the top tier of “superb ability”?
