What will the early leavers do if there’s 8 mins each week effectively you be missing nearly 15 min or so of a match

There could be 8 mins at the end of the first half, so any early leavers would have to leave maybe an extra 5 minutes early because if that too.

Glad the time is being added where it should be. Refs need to be consistent with it though.

If they start accurately adding time on at the Etihad though all our players will be knackered by October.

Favour teams that park the bus and waste time all game then try to knick a result late on.

We will need to be 2 goals clear every game because if not, we will be playing some real fucking fergie time this season.

Still not sure why there was 5 minutes more extra time in the 2nd half than there was in the 1st, i know there were substitutions but even so it seems excessive.

It's a genuine issue if we go into the latter stages of the Champions League and we've spend the whole season playing 105 minute games compared to 95 for our opponents from other leagues.

But let's be honest, in the league it'll favour us more than punish us. No doubt there'll be certain big games where they'll try and fuck us over though.

Additional time is good only if it’s explained what for.

If they say it’s a minimum 3 mins plus 30 seconds for substitutions and goals then you can calculate yourself how much is added on.

When it’s just a random 8 minutes and then an extra 5 mins played on top of that it starts getting silly.

Good idea being badly implemented once again.

Slightly nrelated but I saw the EFL are going to change scoreboards within the ground so they don't stay on 45 and 90 when injury time is being played, is this the case as well in PL?

If it works in our favour then it is not a bad thing either. It does punish teams who like to time waste from the kick off.

Okay, so we've trialled the "stoppage time for everything" rule, which adds 10 minutes to the 90.

It sucks.
