If it works in our favour then it is not a bad thing either. It does punish teams who like to time waste from the kick off.

How will it benefit us? As it is teams love time wasting and even time waste when 1 down now if its still only 1 down they have the 7/10 mins more to hoof it in the box and we know even the greatest sides get a bit nervy when you know you been the better team the whole game!

The clock is running and the ball is in play. Teams can do whatever the fuck they want with it when that is the case. That is a totally different thing to teams purposely keeping the ball dead for as long as possible.

if today sets the standard, it will be 20-30 minutes addition regularly when we play those famous timewaster teams at Etihad. remember Leeds last few years? they wasted time in early first half already at every goal kick, throw in, fake injuries, doctors running onto the pitch then walking off it like a snail.

I dont think we saw much timewasting from either side neither big injuries to come up with this 8 minutes joke.

If we are 1-0 down at 89th minutes, that board comes up with 4 minutes at maximum.

all this new changes on the laws, refs will have a nightmare unless they are 100% consistenst across all matches. for example kicking the ball away. will a player certainly get a yellow for it if he is boooked already and called Robertson or Casemiro? will he fuck...

Precisely, people think that because it's in 'added time' and not 'normal time', Luton Town are going to turn into fucking swashbuckling Brazil 1970 in the last 10 minutes of the game. It's fucking ridiculous. Luton will get fucked repeatedly in added time, like all lesser teams do. The more added time, the more they will be fucked.

And they'll probably already be 4-0 down anyway.

It happened today though and it'll happen again this season. Its definitely going to be exploited by other teams

We either finish the job during the regular 90 minutes or we do an Arsenal and nick the points in the additonal 11. The only sticking point is if it is going to be consistently applied.
