Adebayor at Spurs tonight....

You lot really think he's on 175k?

It wouldn't have taken much at all to lure him from what he was on at Arsenal.

Believing the papers I see...

Ffs i just hate the idea of a loan, he will come back having done about the same but a year older and cheaper to possible buyers.

I just want the fucker gone tbh, his odour will linger.

Spurs ambition is thus loaning citys 5th choice striker who has turned up to watch em play hearts in europe, signing a midfielder from a relegated team in parker, and hoping to keep modric and breaking their wage structure should they do so how can you show other players your ambitious about pushing forward by doing that even if adebayor does well there, there is no way they will be able to afford to buy him anyway.

i think he will end up causing problems in the dressing room anyway. I agree that it could be like lending them a virus.

Anyone who has been through what he went through on that bus is bound to have some emotional scars. Maybe we just know he is spoilt goods now?

These things affect people in different ways, PTSD is not common in footballers is it. Maybe they should send him to the Army physcologists dealing with the lads returning from Afghan.

Looking at Spurs fixtures for the season Adebayor will play 3 amazing games and then get sent-off and spend the rest of the season being very very lazy.
Will history repeat itself?

28/8/11 (h) Man City (cannot play loanee)
10/9/11 (a) Wolves
18/9/11 (h) Liverpool
24/9/11 (a) Wigan
2/10/11 (h) Arsenal

Not happy with this deal to be honest we are strengthening a rival, they will add Diarra aswell and one or two more so not good.

A Gago - Adebayor deal would have been more sensible IMO.
