Just got in and seen the news and scanned back and read a couple of posts about the situation as I can't be arsed reading them all. IMO the whole situation is an absolute joke, I find it unbelieveable that the FA is not looking into RVP for the two footed lunge and telling the crowd to fuck off, double standards? I think so.

I hope as part of their appeal city highlight issues such as this, aswell as Hnery's celebration against Spurs a few years ago and the fact that he wasn't punished for that and also the fact Neville wasn't banned for celebrating infront of the bin dippers.

No news yet on the ban or if we will appeal.
I may be biased but why has the two footed tackle by Van Piss has not been cited, they could not have missed it?

Van Persie is a horrible little tw*t, granted and also deserves to be charged but Adebayor has shown, in no small measure, by having a sly stamp at him and then racing down the pitch at the speed of sound towards the Arsenal supporters, that he puts himself above the club. He deserves what he gets

what a joke the FA are! are they going to review ALL cases of this manner now? ok , running the length of the pitch was excessive, but at least he stayed on the pitch , and was given a yellow card for it! punished twice?????

Van Persie and Arsenal - again !

I watched RVP playing for Holland and Scotland last week and thought that the SFA should hae provided him with a bckbone as he was having difficulty standing, especially when a blue shirt got anywhere near him.
He smashed into Darren Ferguson (only a bad thing when he plays for Scotland) and then rolled around like a dying eel when DF hit him back. The picture in the International Express show the two of them nose to nose.

My point - RVP is a baby faced assasain who like to dish it out and cries for mommy when he gets hit back. He dived in on Ade and came off second best, but his theatrics should have earned HIM a booking.

Of course, "my eyes are dim I cannot see" Wegner missed everything of the above, except the bit where his prize prat player got hurt.

How will we cope without ADE ? Simple - as a big club we should have the resources to slot it another player of equal ability. Robbie / Teves injured ? RSC - will he EVER play. If those three are not available then it gives someone else a chance and MH needs to pick the team accordingly.

Exactly, Ade stayed on the pitch a good few metres away from the Arsenal fans he didn't exactly jump into the Arsenal fans. Rulings like this will take the passion out of football, imagine how good Ade must have been feeling after scoring. He had 3000 Arsenal fans taunting him all game so when he finally scores he celebrates in a way that just shows his passion for the game, HE DID NOTHING WRONG FFS!

I don't get the improper conduct charge. The only improper conduct I saw at COMS on Saturday was from the Arsenal fans.
