Adebayor charged (Merged)

Don't understand why you's are blaming us for his ban? In fact, alot of Gooners don't have a problem with his response. It was spontaneous and he was retaliating to the vile taunts thrown at him.
But it happens up and down the country.

Although I don't have a problem with him running 90 yards to give it back to the away fans, I think you'll find he was charged for inciting them. So that means the FA probably had summats to do with the charge? See, the way I see it is this: the authorities i.e. FA and Police want to ensure there's no repeat of the Spammers/Wall debacle.
Nothing to do with the fans. The fans didn't didn't press for action against Ade, I think you'll find that was the someone elses doing. (Just a hunch though...)

As for the stamping on RvP, if you think he isn't deserving of a ban then I don't know what to say really. Another 1/2 inch and a player could've been blinded.
RvP should've been yellow carded for the attempted lunge but, sorry, Ade should definitely be banned.

You reckon you'll be good enough to win the UEFA Cup next year?

Best get saving for the tickets next year, missing out on Champions League money will hit you hard.

Edit: I got beaten to it ;(!

They are quite interesting articles. Nomore is qualified for the job, there can be no doubt, can there? Brings to mind Blackadders essential qualifications for being an MP, "Oh come on Baldrick, you're going to be an MP for God's sake! I'll just put down...".

This is what he said (to 5 Live):

"I was pretty unimpressed really."

Alan Green light for the media there.

"Our governance team will take a good look at both of the incidents that have been highlighted and will come to the media with the answers early next week."

I see. Of course he was talking to a member (and I do mean member) of the media, so some would say "what do you expect?". I would expect him to simply say "we will have the answers" (answers other than being "unimpressed"?). Media? Hmmm. Incidents "highlighted" by? Well, Persil's ghostwriter and "the media".

Get real and stop being so paranoid!

not paraniod but I would like to ask you and the F.A. 3 questions

1. was adebayors stamping any worse than Alan Shearers?
2, was his goal celebration any more provocative than Gary Nevilles
3, why has wayne rooney never been punished retrospectively for any of his on the pitch offences that should lead to a red card i.e. the use of the elbow and swearing at a match official, diving to name but a few.

I have no problem with any city player being punished but I expect it to be in line with presidents that the F.A. have already set.
If your definition of being paranoid to ask fairness and honesty then I am paranoid.

not having a go at you but just expressing my opinion.

I think you'll find most of us agree that he's going to get a ban for the "stamp."
What's pissing me off is that a proportion of your "fans" reacted in such a way as to turn what was originally considered a yellow card offence into a "potential riot."

That little tool Van Pussy ran over to the City fans after he scored, left the field of play and shouted "Fuck off" at them three times-it's not even being noted in all the hysteria.By the FA,or the media.
How did our fans react?Did we throw chairs or attack any stewards?NO.
Contrast that of our fans to your pathetic, baiting shower.

And then too add insult to injury, the little mardy tosser Van pussy uses the club website to have a go at the nasty big bully Ade...boo hoo....no mention of course,of how he tried to clatter him from behind. The incident that actually prompted the stamp....

THAT'S the problem I've got-one law us,one law for you.Ade gets lynched by the your mob,the FA,the media,Van pussy and your fans get away with it like angels.

It stinks.

Re: Breaking News. Adebayor charged with ...

The FA, RPL, UEFA and FIFA are all as bent as fook and the bottem , line is that they are all scared as fuck that their own sky big 4 are in danger of being dismantled!

Never ever forget that the EPL is marketeted around the world by the sky big 4 and without them, the product would at this moment in time be worth a lot less without them and the powers that be know that full well.

What the fucking point is there in whinging and whining about the fucking double standards that they employ in their attempts at maintaining their own little money making racket.

Fuck the lot of them, take the bans as and when thay come, and believe me, they will come, the more we threaten them, and just go on to piss on their little party when it matters.

You know i moved to RSA in 2007 and leaving my life of home and away City hurt so much but to be honest, the way that the fucking wankers are running our game at the moment to protect their little Cartel, is making me so fucking sick, that im kinda glad im not there, paying my hard earned money to watch, what is in effect, a fucking stich up!

Fuck the lot of them guys, sky, the other fans, any fucking nomark who thinks its his right to comment and lets just get on with winning games and going about our business.

Thats if, the powers that be, will aloow us the level playind field of doing so?

Sorry if its a bit gobbledogook, but im pissed and rather fucking pissed off at the moment.

Oh and lets not forgrt....we fucking beat the Arseanal 4-2 on Saturday, or will they change their rules for that as well?
