Spurs have a decent deal yes, I would value him at £20m given his "problems" but you must remember that they have now paid £14m for him to sign as their player.

£5m to us now
£5m to him now (don't get hung up on these as they are being reported as £4-6m depending on the outlet)
And a £4m loan fee last season.

So they have probably got him for £5 or 6 million under his true "worth". But that's not such a huge saving given the very weak position we were in. SPurs were trying to buy on a free! Now that would have taken the piss.
