neil jung said:Yeah, I saw the Mail story but SSN definitely showed the Guardian sports page with a huge Adebayor-Chelsea headline.Dillon said:It was on one website (the mail I think) but I reckon some of the media had it in for Ade and wanted to try and hurt his reputation or make City fans doubt him.
There are lots of people with agendas in the media. Arsenal fans for example.
I'm just curious why they never put it online. Did someone give them the nod that it was rubbish?

EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR last night completed his £25million transfer to Manchester City - as Sport of the World told you on May 24.
The Arsenal striker, 25, signed a four-year deal worth £140,000 a week and also pocketed a £2m signing-on fee.
The move had looked like collapsing earlier in the week when the star's agent Stephane Courbis demanded a handling fee believed to be £12m.
But all parties reached a settlement and the Togo ace passed his medical yesterday. City boss Mark Hughes said: "We believe he will be an exciting signing.
"It's not about making making a statement - it's about building a team."
On the pitch, a largely second-string City side were dismal as they crashed 2-0 to Orlando Pirates in Polokwane.
Lucas Thwala (penalty) and Mogale Thenwo netted for the South African hosts.
New signings Gareth Barry and Carlos Tevez stayed on the bench.
