under normal circumstances, obviously.

but i don't expect any sort of joined up thinking from people who go through traumatic situations and are thrust back in the limelight without any support whatsoever.
So your brain stops working does it?

Nope, stop making excuses for the fact he has fucked up. Don't get me wrong, i feel for the guy and what he's been through, but he knew when he picked the top up it was arsenal, he knew the interview would be on SSN, and he knew exactly that he shouldn't have it on

yes, there is a very good chance that your brain stops working properly after intolerable stress.

most of the time people recover fully

sometimes it becomes serious and people never recover.

you've really never heard about this?

All logic and compassion seems to have gone out of the window with me and I dislike myself for it but I still feel uneasy about seeing one of our players wearing another team's shirt on TV in an interview. You never see this for a good reason and it is a little bit thoughtless to the fans you play for in my opinion.

To feel unease is natural, however if I was Adebayor and knew of the reaction on here I would think, do the things I've said about feeling the love at City etc. mean nothing to the fans if they can react like this without knowing exactly what may have been behind the wearing of the shirt? I would also pity those that get so worked up that it appears what allegiance someone shows is more important than tragedy.

Oh i've heard about it, in fact i know a few people who have been in similar situations, in fact almost identical apart from the bus. They're rag fans, if i'd have chucked them an arsenal shirt a few days after to wear to an interview they would have turned round and asked wtf i was doing. And yes, i did see them a few days after it happened, so i know what state they were in

They were rag fans. Ade is not a City fan he is an employee. I think he cocked up and I bet he has been told exactly that by City. I really don't think he had any intention to show malice toward us.

Oh neither do i, we're not arguing that, we're arguing the fact he just shouldn't have done it
