He just came back from injury not too long ago and is off form because he hasn't seen much action, hopefully he excels in training and gets back to his old scoring self, something we could really use.

No need to cut him down boys
Boateng has just come back from injury and he had a great game, bar that one pass in the first half.

And his man scoring in acres of space, but other than that had a great game!

He will always be judged against Carlos when he plays and he just doesn't seem to put in a shift. Totally despondent young man and it is a shame BUT I do see him going in January for a knock down fee.

I am shocked at this thread. I thought Ade looked great out there. He started very brightly and caused a lot of trouble. I even thought that he shouldn't have been subbed as you get the sense that he needs one small thing to work for him to score.

V strange that we all diverging assessments.

Yh the people on this thread are is complete piss take.

If he had scored three goals he would still be a lazy **** with a touch of a donkey.

The comments about Ade are a disgrace.

to call him lazy is to insult the manager. no matter how you rate RM he would not tolerate such behaviour, would not pick a lazy player, maybe as a former international player himself he sees what fans dont/cant . i am going for the managers view.

we looked far less dangerous when he went off the pitch imo. He's a bit pants, and was especially pants today, but at least he gives the opposition defence something different to think about

unless Balotelli comes good i think the decision to not buy a top class box striker might be the one that costs us this season

Thought the most telling thing was that, considering he certainly won't be starting on Sunday, he didn't even play 90.

Didn't look a threat in the slightest.

It's a joke how much the 'fans' get on his back. For example, Johnson mis-controls the ball and it rolls out of play, everyone laughs then applauds Johnson. 30 seconds later Ade has a poor first touch and everyone throws a tirade of abuse at the guy, you'd think he'd just missed an open net from 4 yards out the way some go on. These are the same people that leave their seats 10 minutes before the end as well.

the problem he has is that him and tevez both like to come deep and go out wide and run all over the place. neither of them are traditional number 9s. and tevez is simply a better player than ade imo

good and bad side of him tonight, some great touches, some awful ones. Ran around quite a lot, but never looked a threat, time will tell, I'm not judging him on tonight he got barely any service.

-- Fri Oct 01, 2010 12:10 am --

good and bad side of him tonight, some great touches, some awful ones.
