at the end of the season he will be hated by gooners tottenham and city fans.

not a bad record.

And that diffres from the beginningof the season?
PS I don't hate him actually, just wished we could have sold him.

I'd expect a "friendly" journo to set out the full terms of this deal in the next couple of days.

If one doesn't we can safely presume we've been bent over in the deal.

Spurs just signed Iago Falque from Juve on a season-long loan too. Why all these loans, they have money.

This should help Modric's agent when he sits down with Levy tomorrow re his contract! "yes Mr Levy my client would like parity with Adebeyour - or he's off to Chelsea". If the press can be believed - that will be a four fold increase!

You know... I watched the Champions League draw this morning and I was so happy. Didn't care that we drew a strong group. I look forward to watching the games.

This, though, has me irrationally pissed. I mean so angry I wanted to throw my computer monitor. I hate the spuds. I hate them at least as much as I hate the rags. If Redknapp was on fire, I would piss on him only because I know that wouldn't put the fire out and it would make his corpse smell even worse. I hate them all. Helping them do anything other than to a wretched end is like a knife to my soul.

OK, enough with the fence-sitting!

Tell us how you really feel about this deal.

are we not paying half, or is that just bollocks..

If we are, I imagine there'd be a loan fee to cover the difference. £3 million was the figure being banded about for the loan fee and half his wage is £75,000 a week supposedly - so £3 million covers 40 weeks of that.

Then Spurs wage structure is still technically intact, and we aren't out of pocket.
cheers for that, still a couple more to go either loans or full transfer, and interesting what marwood said on sky about a possible loan to us wouldnt be a certain club in milan..

I can't see Sneijder being loaned out, can you remember a player in his prime who was valued at £30m-£40m being sent out on a season-long loan? I think we'll probably be looking at someone for the Vieira-role, not just position-wise but also in terms of experience, I think we'll be after a 'veteran'.
