We underestimate teams at our peril. Spurs are a tidy footballing side with more pace than us in attack. Fortunately they can be vulnerable in defence and hopefully we will exploit this at weekend but we are not world beaters yet. They pose a threat and IMO we should treat all opposition with respect.

Are you still convinced that City aren't paying anything towards the Adebayor deal. I know you and Ian Ladyman were of this view, but are you still of this view?

Just interested. I could do with hearing that we're not subsidising a rival and, like you, otherwise I think this deal is shit.

The club were at pains to tell everyone that Bridges wages last half season were paid in full by West Ham, if they don't do the same for Adebayor I think we can fear the worst.

Who is suggesting we shouldn't respect them? As for pace in attack, the have Bale and Lennon. Neither set the Prem alight last season whatever Bale managed against the Milan teams.

We have also increased our pace in attack with Aguero, Nasri and Clichy. I think you do us a disservice here.

I don't hate him ,in a strange way I feel a bit sorry for him as he is a player who will never fulfill his true potential because of his attitude.
I hope he does reasonably well for spurs and we get him out of here for good next season but I fear something will get in the way of that.
