If he signing for the rags I take your point I'd be saying £500k per week on a 6 year contract. But we can offer him a signing on fee a decent wage which if he doesn't like then we tell him to jog on. The likelihood is that he would be a squad player like Gundogan so why would we offer him a kings ransom to play for us?

Yes,a good signing on fee would be a possibility but i still think another more needy club who could guarantee him regular football,while paying him more.....will be his destination.
Besides,as i also stated,in terms of ability and attitude,i just don't think he fits our player profile criteria.

Couldn't we just give him a large signing bonus then a regular weekly wage that fits within the structure?
