Don`t know about this one. Signing him on a free would be great, as I think he would cost around 50m if he had 3+ years left on his contract. But reports say that he has asked PSG not to play DM, and if that is true, he might not be what we should be looking for

Don’t know about this one. I’d rather we just splash the cash on a player that fits the bill. I’d like us to sign someone with a bit power for the DM role. I know it’s not Peps sort of player, but Fernandinho has adapated well to his tactics.

I thought Mbappe did well,not his best but he was always trying,unlike others.The difference also lies in the fact he can produce a moment of genius at any time.
Rabiot is a good player,but there are better and right now the same can't be said for Mbappe.

True but he'd come on a free. If he's good enough for PSG to not replace him, then I think he could at least be a squad player for us. And if it doesn't work out after 2 years, sell him on and break even/profit.

He'd be an excellent squad player but we want a starter,a replacement for Dinho.We can't keep stockpiling nearly men.

Free isn't relevant if we don't think he's good enough to be anything more than a squad player we need somebody good enough to take over from Fernandinho over the nest year. He's either good enough and the right player or he isn't.

He is absolutely good enough.

I know PSG got a lot of stick for their performance but in my opinion, it was their game plan to play the game at slow pace and they were 2 mins always from getting a draw at anfield which is more than we can say about city or most teams recently.

He would be a starter at city in a 4 3 3.

I don't think he could replace Fernandinho as a pure DM, but he's more technical and B2B than he is. Might just need some tweaking with the formation. Could work will in a 3 with Rabiot, De Bruyne as DLP or Gundogan as CM and one of the Silva's as CAM.
