Yes both grounds were very old school, terrible surroundings, loud & intimidating, ahh I do miss the old days:)

Remember them well in the 70is-80is down at their gaff & M,R.But having meet quite a few over the years there.s mutual respect now
even from the younger guys..will be in their end come Saturday..

Glad I am not the only one not joining the Hammers Love In .I sometimes liked there brand of football but didn't like there fans frightening women and kids and fighting with opposing fans when they terrorised Towns up up and down the country in the 70s and 80s.Certainly had no affinity to them last season either when there fans were fighting each other .Am not bothered either way if they do well or if they don't makes no odds to me

Like most here I don't have 'second team'. I'm not that arsed.

But I do have a soft spot for certain teams and would rather they won. Teams my good mates support and I've been to games - Bolton, Brentford, Watford

But also ones where there's not necessarily a rational reason, just a feeling - West Ham, Wednesday and Sunderland.

I don't lose any sleep if they lose though.
