Aguero apologises to Luiz

The bigger man apologises for an out of character incident while Luiz asks for an apology while he carries on his sly elbowing

Disagree with this. Luiz did not make a meal out of it and only asked for an apology when asked the specific question by the media.
Luiz has tweeted...
Thank you @aguerosergiokun for a demonstration of character. We get to know great man and athletes this way.

Was a bad challenge by Sergio and totally out of character, but both have come out of this showing that they are class acts.

So totally out of character for him to do anything remotely like that.Red mist descends on us all at times, but well done Sergio for having the balls to apologise.
In fairness to Luiz he didn`t make a meal out of it.

no a class act wouldn't have commited such a classless act but he has done the right thing and has been very gentleman like about it well done Sergio

A mistake like this is easy to make in the heat of the moment, it's what you do after that matters the most.

Yeah agree, a class act would not have done such a dirty deed. But credit to Sergio for redeeming himself. And Luiz for being a sport.

Serg can do little wrong for me... QPR goal, Villarreal goal (one of the most underrated moments last season and caused Mancini to go mental!), derby goal, Chelsea goal... he is a real hero for the fans.

Speaking of which, I like this page from today's programme. :)

Ok now there has been a concession of guilt lets see how long before the FA change there minds and revisit taking action.

That is tongue in cheek, but doing that the day after they announce no action to be taken will have pissed some off at the FA, would have been happier for any apology to remain private between the involved parties.

the fact they have sorted it out player to player is a great precedent and its right its made public

I hope that the FA come out and support them both
it was classy and respectful t way to bury a negative story and it creates some positive city history acts like these will be long remembered and part of why MCFC is the best

we only need Thatchers followers to model Sergio's example and say sorry too
