Your rich, single, young and in a foreign country.... Sorry but I could think of a million things worth doing, rather than running off back to a native speaking land....

Some of these players lack any fucking imagination at times.

If I'm not mistaken, it's because their husbands cheated on them. So, you can imagine why they wouldn't want to stick around after that.

Being unfair on Serg there, from what I've read it broke off because of HER party habits, not surprised her being Diego's little girl and all that

Aguero cheated? Source?

Shame a Mancunian girl can't come along and tie down Sergio, like Vinny's wife.

She's a moose and he's well rid, especially with that prick of a father.

Anyway my point is these days I Dont worry one bit when I see our star players ( even aguero) linked with a move away. Even if it isn't bullshit it would take an awful lot to prise them away, we are no longer a weak club being fucked over by some wealthy club who just happen to fancy one of our players. Paul Stewart and spurs comes to mind.if we do sell one of our world stars you can bet your life another will walk through our doors and take his place.

This is a very different Manchester city.

To be honest de niro I would be more concerned if our star players WEREN'T being linked with other teams. Only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.

If so, we would need to snatch Cavani or Falcao ASAP and place 2 wingers to either side of him in the 4-3-3 formation.

Forwards (available)
Tevez
Kun
Silva (possibly on the left wing)

Midfielders
Milner
Yaya
Barry

Defenders
Clichy
Nastasic
Kompany
Zabs

Lots of hypothetical scenarios in this thread so
Assume he stays, M.P. knows all about him, and his tactics get the very best out of Kun, could easily be 30+ goals season
On the other hand he could struggle with the new tactics, his form dips and leaving becomes inevitable.
I favour the first, in tandem with Cavani it could be the best partnership in football.

rich, single and young is all well and good when your not recognised everywhere you go and everything you do would be scrutinised.

Manchester City's chief executive Ferran Soriano has insisted that Sergio Aguero will not be sold this summer.

Recent reports had linked the Argentinian international with a move to Spanish outfit Real Madrid.

However, Soriano has claimed that the club have no intention of parting with a player that cost them a reported £30m from Atletico Madrid back in 2011.

"The first thing I want to emphasise is that we have never thought of selling Aguero. El Kun will be happy to stay with us this year," Soriano told Tuttomercatoweb.

The official went on to add that neither Radamel Falcao nor Neymar would be arriving at the Etihad Stadium ahead of the new season, despite speculation to the contrary.

"Neymar and Falcao? [These reports are] false, they have never been on our agenda," he said.

Soriano was speaking following the announcement that City had agreed to buy a MLS franchise with the New York Yankees.

I think "... this year" pretty much sums it all up.

Always felt he's not gonna extend his contract but I'd hope that he can contribute for another season, negotiate honourably with no dodgy tricks and leave with everyone's best wishes. Especially if we can create the foundations of our attack after-Aguero this summer. Otherwise it's too much upheaval.
