Chickens coming home to roost on disastrous transfer window. This was the window to shore up all of our shortcomings (width, deep passing, pace) and we not only failed, we exaggerated those deficiencies.

RM has to realise now that players like Barry are completely useless at this sort of level, they have no pace and our team is too big and heavy to progress at CL level. Fine for the Premiership but not at this level. Poor performances from some big players, Dzeko gets his start and again did nothing to suggest he merits starting again on Saturday. Defence was shambolic, we gifted them a couple of goals and at this level that is never ever going to cut it
